It combines #Shredder ceramic belts for heavy hogging, ultra-flexible J-Flex A/O for the contour work Kamimura knives are known for, and non-woven surface conditioning for final surface prep before etch or polish.

The Kamimura sequence
1. Profiling & hogging — 36 grit Shredder. Establish the profile fast.
2. Bevel cleanup — 60–120 grit Shredder. Clean up hammer marks, set the primary grind.
3. Handle & contour — 220–400 J-Flex. Wrap the flexible belts around handles and refine the tang.
4. Final surface prep — Medium/Very Fine conditioning. Erase scratches and leave a clean, uniform finish ready for etch or polish.
