The same non-woven surface conditioning material as our 2x72 line, sized for 1″ x 30″ benchtop sanders. Fibrous instead of coated, these belts resist loading and heat build-up — so they last long and blend scratch patterns into clean, uniform finishes.
Run the grade ladder and a benchtop machine turns out satin finishes that look like they came off a big grinder.

This belt gives such a nice finish on the knife. Definitely will keep using these.
Really like the finish left by this belt. It's thick though, so there might be trouble getting it to run on your machine until it "self clearances" the inside of the belt area.

Uhhh.....When does it wear out? I'm getting tired of seeing the same belt. Seriously. I have used the course for hardwoods, epoxy and 440C. Still runnin!!! Love it!!

Awesome belts they cut down on hand sanding allot
I saw a lot of people were having issues with the belt being to tight. Here's how I solved it. Get the belt damp and flex it by hand except where its joined. Like a lot. Put the belt on the machine, turn it on and and give it a push. After a few seconds it will speed up and break in the stiff belt. Easy solve. A stronger motor would skip all this but we work with what we got.
These surface conditioning belts are awesome. I use them on my 1x30 to clean up the finish and they work great for keeping everything nice and clean looking.
If you haven’t tried these your life is dull and meaningless. Once I used these belts my life forever changed and now I live in the glorious light of the beautiful finish on this knife. This was my first try with a non woven belt. I only use it briefly. After my heat treat to remove black scale build up. It worked about 85 percent if I used it correctly. Still had hand sanding to do. I would definitely buy more of these non woven belts in the future , they have their purpose. I ll say 4 out of 5 stars , but that may change in the near future to 5 stars .Consider user error first time use. Combat Abrasive always delivers great company. 5 stars for them .
These are a must in any metal working shop. Combat version of a Scotchbrite is in my opinion superior.

The belt is a little to heavy or thick to go throw my 1x30 Bucktool I have to manually release the tension until the speed can build up then it will run well
