The belt seems to work well, but it is slightly shorter than 72" and has a lot of side to side movement, doesn't run very smoothly.

I bought a 2" x 72" belt sander as a shop tool. Being able to use a leather strop to bring my knives to hair whittling edge is a bonus I had not counted on. Although the belt works fine, it is not a precise as it could be. It wanders back and forth about 1/2" and the thickness is not real consistent.

Smooth at seam and tracking is okay

Next level sharp after using this on my high carbon builds. Can’t wait to try other steels.

The knife tore it up on the first use. Wouldn’t recommend

Black Rouge on a Leather belt cuts down on Buffer time considerably. We have the tools learn to use them safely and let them do the work.

If your looking to get a great finish on a hollow grind use a Leather belt and rouge to cut down on the hand sanding. Works great for putting that Razors Edge as well.

The expression on my husband's face says it all. I secretly purchased the 72" leather belt for his 81st birthday. It made his day.
