This bundle is great to start with and figure out what grits and type of belts you want. Out of the few brands I’ve tried, Combat Abrasives belts are the best I’ve used. Very durable and last much longer than my other belts. The higher grit leaves a nice finish on my knives and my handles. Combat Abrasives belts will be my go to purchase for all my knife making.

It's a nice assortment of belts and costs less than if I bought each belt individually, however the shedder belts aren't any better than those I buy at Harbor Freight. In fact the ones I buy at Harbor Freight last longer than yours. I've had two 60 grit belts come apart sanding handles for my knives. I haven't used them for sanding metal, just wood. I've never had a Harbor Freight 60 grit belt come apart

I bought a 1x30 grinder on Amazon and the included belt snapped very quickly, I bought these after to finish my first knife. Went from 60-150-800 on the bevel and left the rest at 60. I snapped 2 800s on the knife but I think that it might have been my fault. Overall these are great, easy to use and the ceramic ones are very durable.

Great belts! Went through 3 of another brand trying to shape this oak handle down and it only took 1 120 from combat to finish the roughing in and finished with a 400. These turned my little HF 1x30 in to a real belt grinder lol. Highly recommend for anyone needing a good assortment of belts.

This is a really great pack of belts for the money. We’re pretty happy with the grit diversity offered in it. My son and I got knives ‘shave hair off your arm’ razor sharp right away with higher grits. While the ceramic belts seem to chew material away quickly, and have held up well so far while shaping. Just getting into the knife making hobby so I picked up a 1x30 belt grinder but the HF belts were not doing very well so I thought I'd give Combat Abrasives a try. These are top notch belts, even for a little 1x30. Metal comes off smooth and quick with coarser grits and the 1000 grit polishes things up nicely. Love the belts, will be purchasing again.

It smoothly cut down some bar steel for a new pad on a motorcycle kick stand, and has been amazing for rough shaping my kydex projects as well as my wood pieces for jigs. The ceramic belts are much more efficient than other low grit materials. Shipping out was slow for me and had to follow up to try and get them shipped. Once they did ship they got here quick....but your paying premium shipping rates for that. It’s a good product and I have now ordered some 72 inch stuff for my larger grinder... but once again I ordered them on the 14th and today is the 18th... no shipping notice yet.

Just started getting into bladesmithing and bought the good ole harbor freight 1x30 belt grinder. The belts were terrible and burned up fast. So i bought the 1x30 kit from combat and man. The 36 grit moves metal much faster and lasts wayyyy longer. Keep in mind its only harbor freight. And just knowing that the belts made that much difference in performance is why i will buy every belt from combat

BIG improvement over your run of the mill Amazon belts. I like the red 60/120 grit belts, however they wear down a little faster than I'd like. After about 1 solid 10" blade, profile/shape grinding and bevel grinding they're reduced to about 1/2 efficiency. But for about $74 shipped to by door it's such an array of quality belts, hard deal to beat. Now I can dial in the ones I use most and replace from there. Will be purchasing through them again.

Seem to be good quality belts so far. Easy to work with customer service. Perhaps a suggestion to reword the confirmation email that says, "We received your order, but haven't gotten around to shipping it quite yet." It sounds pretty casual. It would be more suitable to be told something like, "We received your order and it is in preparation for shipping." I particularly was waiting for the belts as the ones I ordered from another source were inferior. Other that that, I'll order again.

Good quality belts for a 1x30. They make stock removal a whole lot easier on a cheap little grinder. I did have a couple belts that didn’t fit though, they seemed to be just a bit smaller and wouldn’t go on the grinder. All in all good product, good price, and fast shipping.

Outstanding selection of belts the 80 grits ceramic goes thru the hardest steel like butter. I reprofiled some of my friends knives that they had neglected some hard some sizable dents and nicks they came out beautiful. I usually put convex edges on the blades that I repair and sharpened.I will definitely order from this company again. Great customer service and shipping.

I am a novice beginner knife maker during this time of forced unemployment. I had purchased a few 1x30 belts at Harbor Freight, but they were not so good. The combat abrasives 1x30 belts I ordered are a night and day difference from other brands I have tried usually on a 1x30 machine anything over a 80 grit has a bad belt bump but the combat belts have no belt bump even on the 800 grit
