This thing is huge and will last years, near as I can tell. I used it on two belt sanders, one for metal, one for wood and not only did it clean the belts to like nearly new condition, it barely took any rubber off, which is why I think it will last a long time. I can't believe how effective this is. Nothing really meets all the marketing hype.......but this does. It is an excellent product.

Absolutely worth the money! It really shines once the belt has started to lose it's teeth. Mine lives right next to my benchtop 4"x36" belt grinder and run it every few minutes.
After my first project of a matched set of 12 throwing knives, 98% of the rubber block is still there, and it REALLY cleans the belts when moving aluminum or wood.

Just by using this eraser as I'm sanding (belt, disc or random orbit) I not only cut down my sanding time and improved the results, I don't even know how much less sandpaper I actually end up using by keeping it clean. MUCH more than enough to offset the purchase price. Very highly recommended.

The belts were thrown in a box with and then the belt cleaner was thrown on those and they shipped it like that.. it looked beat up but luckily nothing was damaged.. the order was over 100 dollars and i wish they would put more care into shipping.
